Unfortunately, I don't use Microsoft Word that much so I can't compare the two programs fairly. I did play around with the Google program and it was easy to use.

Thing 8: Wikis

Today, I added a movie review to the staff Wikis. The activity was simple and fun. I'm going to explore what other staff have written. I understand that much trust must be given to Wikipedia as someone could be malicious and write something untrue where it could be mistaken as fact. Hopefully, other readers would catch untruths and correct them.

Thing 6

I found using del.icio.us to be very easy. Very straightforward. I added a website about dvds that I look at regularly and thought everyone might enjoy. I want to compliment the skokieten. Your instructions relating to these activities are excellent.

Thing 5

I just went through Flickr and found it to be pretty simple to use. I had a little difficulty uploading photos to my blog as the process was not totally clear.

Thing 3 completed

I just did Thing 3. Instant Messaging was easy! MySpace is frustrating as I can't find my own page yet unless I sign in. How long does it take them to make their files current?

Creating MySpace

I skipped past Thing 3 to do Thing 4. I've created a MySpace page. The instructions were fairly straightforward. I also included photos of some of my paintings which can be seen if you are a MySpace member by clicking Pics under my profile. I still want to fool around with the program to see if I can get more of my pictures on the main page.

Day 2

I completed Thing 2 but don't completely understand the point of it. Maybe someone can simplify the reason behind doing Thing 2.

Painting Life

Hi. It's great to be back at work. I'm healing and able to paint again sooner than I thought I could. I'll be one armed for a while but still able to be of some help. Creating this blog seems easy so far. I'm going to try to post photos soon of some of my paintings. We have a new shelver who started on September 20. His name is Rajiv Kamaria. That's it for now, I guess.
