Thning 10 completed!!!!!!
With Richard's help, I finished Thing 10. Downloading an ebook is easy. Unfortunately, if you have dial-up it'll be really slow unless it's in audio format. The library website is great. I think the different available languages is fantastic even though I don't need to use that feature. I especially like the movie reviews by staff.

Thing 7 finished
Today, with Ruth's help, I finished Thing 7 (Podcasting). Personally, I don't listen to audio only Podcasts. YouTube is ok if you can get past the garbage. I found the process of subscribing to be less than intuitive. Ruth helped me with the whole subscription process. I suppose the steps would come easier if I used it regularly.

Thing 9
Unfortunately, I don't use Microsoft Word that much so I can't compare the two programs fairly. I did play around with the Google program and it was easy to use.

Thing 8: Wikis
Today, I added a movie review to the staff Wikis. The activity was simple and fun. I'm going to explore what other staff have written. I understand that much trust must be given to Wikipedia as someone could be malicious and write something untrue where it could be mistaken as fact. Hopefully, other readers would catch untruths and correct them.

Thing 6
I found using del.icio.us to be very easy. Very straightforward. I added a website about dvds that I look at regularly and thought everyone might enjoy. I want to compliment the skokieten. Your instructions relating to these activities are excellent.

Thing 5
I just went through Flickr and found it to be pretty simple to use. I had a little difficulty uploading photos to my blog as the process was not totally clear.
